The Maldives Food Carnival 2026 has officially opened at Central Park, Hulhumalé, welcoming thousands of food lovers, families and local businesses to one of the country's largest culinary celebrations.
Taking place from 15 to 18 July, the four-day event showcases an extensive selection of food vendors serving traditional Maldivian favourites alongside a variety of international cuisines. Open daily from 4:00 p.m. until late evening, the carnival offers visitors a lively outdoor experience featuring delicious food, live entertainment and activities for all ages.
Over the years, the Maldives Food Carnival has grown into one of Hulhumalé's most anticipated annual events, providing a valuable platform for local restaurants, cafés and food entrepreneurs to showcase their offerings while connecting with new customers. Beyond its diverse culinary selection, the carnival features live performances, interactive games, promotional campaigns and prize giveaways, creating an engaging atmosphere for the entire family.
Among the major participants is Dhiraagu, which is hosting gaming activities through the Dhiraagu Gamers' Guild and rewarding visitors with prizes including free mobile data and DhiraaguPay cashback.
