The Department of National Registration and SME Digital have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at streamlining and accelerating customer verification processes through secure digital integration, marking a meaningful step forward in enhancing the efficiency of SME Digital's services.
The purpose of the MOU is to facilitate KYC (Know Your Customer) verification through secure API integration between the two organisations, enabling SME Digital to access verified national registration data in a fast, secure, and seamless manner. This initiative will allow SME Digital to provide faster and more efficient services to customers, significantly reducing the time and friction traditionally associated with manual verification processes during financing applications.
By replacing manual checks with a secure, automated digital verification process, the partnership is expected to enhance both the speed and accuracy of customer onboarding, ultimately improving the overall experience for individuals and businesses applying for financing through SME Digital.
