Bank of Maldives has opened registrations for the limited release of Swipe, the 100% Maldivian-developed digital wallet built to deliver seamless international and domestic payment experiences for customers across the country.
The limited release is open to the first 5,000 customers who register through swipe.mv, giving early adopters exclusive access to the platform ahead of its full public launch. Customers who successfully complete registration will be among the first to experience Swipe's growing suite of features firsthand.
Once onboarded, Swipe users will have access to a range of practical and everyday financial tools, including instant person-to-person transfers, fast QR payments, spending insights, shareable payment links, and simple top-up and withdrawal options. The wallet has been designed with ease of use at its core, ensuring that managing money digitally is straightforward and accessible for all users.
Swipe has been developed in full compliance with local regulatory requirements and international payment standards, with a strong emphasis on practical functionality and security. The wallet supports multi-currency accounts and can be funded through Bank of Maldives accounts or any credit or debit card, offering users flexibility in how they manage and move their money.
