Bank of Maldives Staff Rally Behind ARC Aid to Support Vulnerable Families During Ramadan

Employees of Bank of Maldives have once again demonstrated the bank's culture of giving, coming together to donate to ARC Aid's Ramadan initiative aimed at providing essential items to vulnerable families across the Maldives.

ARC Aid's initiative this year focused on supporting two of the most deserving groups in the community, namely families with children with special needs and single mothers, ensuring that these households receive the essentials they need during the holy month of Ramadan. Thanks to the generous contributions from BML staff, over 100 care packs were assembled and distributed, reaching the families of more than 200 children in need.

The initiative reflects a longstanding tradition among Bank of Maldives employees, who extend their support to various organisations and communities each Ramadan. Last year, BML staff directed their contributions towards MOMS Aid, while ARC Aid has also been a recipient of staff support in previous years, highlighting the bank's consistent commitment to community welfare beyond its core banking operations.

Through these annual giving initiatives, Bank of Maldives and its employees continue to demonstrate that their dedication to the communities they serve goes well beyond the walls of the bank, making a meaningful and tangible difference in the lives of the most vulnerable members of Maldivian society.
