Dhiraagu brought its leadership and staff together for a memorable evening of recognition and celebration at its Annual Awards Ceremony, honouring the dedication, innovation, and outstanding performance of the talented individuals who continue to drive the company forward as the Maldives' leading telecommunications and digital services provider.

The annual event holds a special place in Dhiraagu's calendar, serving as a powerful affirmation of the company's culture of appreciation, collaboration, and continuous growth. This year's ceremony was attended by the Chairperson of the Communications Authority of Maldives (CAM), Ilyas Ahmed, Dhiraagu CEO and Managing Director Ismail Rasheed, Dhiraagu Board Directors, and members of the company's leadership team and staff.

88 Employees Recognised for Excellence

A total of 88 staff members were honoured at this year's ceremony, celebrating a wide and impressive spectrum of talent, commitment, and achievement across the organisation.

Among those recognised, 53 long-serving employees were celebrated for their enduring contributions to the company, with special acknowledgement given to staff who have dedicated 10, 15, and 25 years to Dhiraagu, a powerful testament to the loyalty and commitment that defines the company's people.

A further 34 staff members were honoured for making notable and measurable contributions to Dhiraagu's continued success, with awards distributed across several categories. These included 14 Divisional Merit Awards, 10 Special Merit Awards, 8 Innovation Awards spanning three notable projects, and 2 Outstanding Leaders Awards, collectively reflecting the breadth and depth of talent within the organisation and celebrating the individuals and teams who have gone above and beyond to support Dhiraagu's strategic objectives.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of Dhiraagu's most prestigious recognition, the Chairperson's Award, which was awarded to Khalaf Mohamed Nafiz from Consumer Services, in a moment that drew well-deserved applause from everyone in attendance.
